Definition and shortcut keys of File Menu Options In MS Word 2010 New (Ctrl +N):- This option is used to create a new document/ file. For this, we can either click on the New option in File Tab or by using short cut key Ctrl +N. Open (Ctrl + O):- This option is used to open an existing or already saved document/ file. For this, we can either use the Open option or use the short cut key Ctrl +O. This will open a dialog box (by default it opens the Documents window). From where we can open the desired file.
